WHAT WE COLLECT
When you use MINTED AI, we collect:
- Photos you upload — Used solely to generate your AI photos. We process them, we don't keep them forever.
- Account info — Email if you sign up, payment info processed securely through Apple.
- Usage data — How you use the app, crash logs, basic analytics. Standard stuff.
HOW WE USE YOUR PHOTOS
This is the important part:
- Your photos are sent to our AI processing servers to generate new images.
- Photos are automatically deleted from our servers after processing.
- We do NOT use your photos to train AI models.
- We do NOT sell your photos. Ever.
- We do NOT share your photos with third parties.
AI PROCESSING
We use Google's Gemini API to generate your photos. Your images are:
- Transmitted securely via encrypted connection
- Processed according to Google's privacy standards
- Not retained by Google for training purposes
DATA STORAGE
- Generated images are stored locally on YOUR device
- We don't keep copies of your generated photos on our servers
- Subscription status is managed through Apple's systems
THIRD PARTIES
We work with:
- Apple — For payments and subscriptions
- Google (Gemini API) — For AI image generation
That's it. No shady data brokers. No ad networks. No selling your face to the highest bidder.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can:
- Delete your uploaded photos anytime (they're on your device)
- Request deletion of any account data
- Cancel your subscription through Apple
- Contact us with any privacy concerns
CHILDREN
MINTED AI is not intended for users under 17. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
CHANGES
We might update this policy. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes = we'll let you know.
